About the job: The JMP Life Sciences division improves all JMP products with advanced solutions in a wide number of fields, including AI, machine learning, genomics, and clinical data science. We are also spearheading new developments for cutting edge implementations using modern LLMs, agentic design, context engineering, UI design, PyTorch, and XGBoost. Role responsibilities for this internship include: Programming in Python to build new AI-integrated routines for JMP. Testing, benchmarking, documenting, and promoting this work (written and/or video). What we’re looking for: Pursuing a Master’s or preferably a PhD in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Biochemistry, Clinical Statistics, Statistical Genomics, Engineering, or other life-science-analytic focused major, not graduating prior to December 2027 Someone with very strong communication and coding skills – both written and verbal.
