About the role Based in Tokyo, Japan, you will contribute to Aurora’s advisory work by developing rigorous, data-driven insights that help clients make better strategic decisions as they navigate the energy transition. As a Senior Analyst, you will manage analytical workstreams, transform data into practical recommendations, and present insights to clients. Working across Advisory, Research and modelling teams, you will also guide junior colleagues and expand your knowledge of Japan’s changing energy markets. You will work in a dynamic, intellectually stimulating and demanding yet supportive environment. You will be given increasing responsibility for managing your own workstreams, supporting junior colleagues and engaging directly with clients, while developing the skills required to progress towards project and team leadership. The position suits an experienced analyst from a strategic or economic consultancy, energy company, financial services company, or other knowledge-focused firm or institution, with strong quantitative capabilities and an interest in energy markets and the energy transition.
