Role Overview The Database Manager leads the team responsible for designing, building, and operating the database architecture that powers Intelerad 's medical imaging solutions. This role owns the database strategy and standards behind our PACS, RIS, and enterprise imaging platforms, ensuring the systems that store and serve healthcare data remain scalable, secure, and highly available. Beyond technical direction, this role builds and develops a high-performing team of database engineers and architects — hiring, coaching, and setting clear goals that connect individual growth to team and business outcomes. The Database Manager partners closely with software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and product leadership to align database strategy with product roadmaps, and represents database considerations in decisions that affect system reliability and patient care. Key Responsibilities Lead, hire, and develop a team of database engineers and architects, setting clear performance and development goals, conducting regular check-ins, and building a team capable of supporting Intelerad 's current and future database needs. Own the database architecture strategy and standards for Intelerad 's medical imaging platforms, ensuring designs are scalable, secure, and reliable across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployment models.
