Overview The Cloud DevSecOps Architect provides architecture strategies supporting resiliency, scalability, modular design patterns, and capability re-use for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Product Delivery Services (PDS), Benefits and Memorials (BAM), Memorial and Benefit Services (MBS) deliver secure, reliable, and effective Information Technology (IT) solutions that support the Department’s mission. Responsibilities Recommend architectural changes and technology improvements to enhance security (zero trust), performance, resiliency, and operational efficiency. Integrate data analytics, AI/ML, and BI requirements into architecture and solution designs. Produce Solution Architecture Packages enabling government decision‑making for future target architectures Design and govern CI/CD architecture including automated builds, testing (functional, performance, security), deployments, and rollback strategies. Ensure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) alignment with VA cloud compliance standards. Implement observability (“Monitoring as Code”) across infrastructure, OS, application, and integrations. Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines supporting multiple technology stacks (.Net Core, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, etc.). Define and deliver monitoring plans, dashboards, DevSecOps maturity metrics, and automated testing reports. Ensure automated security testing, static/dynamic scanning, and compliance checks are integrated into CI/C
