About the Role We are looking for a motivated QA Automation Engineer or Junior Java Developer who wants to grow in test automation and contribute to a strategic, high-visibility project. This is a one-year engagement focused on test automation, test execution, defect investigation, and continuous quality improvement. The role is ideal for someone with a QA automation background or a developer mindset who enjoys problem solving, learning new technologies, and working closely with both technical and business teams. You will have the opportunity to work on complex applications, learn business processes, and contribute directly to the success of a critical delivery initiative. The role also encourages responsible and effective use of AI tools for activities such as code assistance, test case generation support, test result analysis, documentation, and faster learning of technical topics. What will you do? Analyze business and technical requirements and understand expected application behavior. Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases for APIs, backend services, and applications. Run automated test suites and analyze execution results. Investigate failed tests and determine whether issues originate from application defects, test scripts, configuration, test data, or environments. Create and document defects, including logs, test evidence, root cause analysis, and reproduction steps. Use AI tools responsibly, where appropriate, to support test automation, debugging, docum
