About the role We're building enterprise-grade AI, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to be the technical anchor of a growing team. You'll design and ship the agentic systems that make our product work at scale, set the engineering bar for everyone around you, and stay close enough to the research frontier to bring the best ideas into production. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants their work to define how the team builds. What You'll Do Build robust AI systems | Design and ship testable, production-grade agentic AI systems that hold up at enterprise scale Lead by example | Serve as the lead IC and technical standard-bearer for a growing backend AI team — through code, design reviews, and mentorship Push the state of the art | Research emerging techniques and translate them into practical, reliable engineering practices Design lean systems | Extend and evolve our services while keeping complexity low and the codebase maintainable Who You Are Formal background in CS or a related technical discipline (MS a plus) 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience Deep expertise in Python and its ecosystem (FastAPI, Flask, or similar) Experience with agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar) A craftsperson who writes elegant, well-tested code — with or without AI assistance A strong systems designer with hands-on AWS experience Comfortable moving fast in ambiguous situations that require clear communication Excited to work in pers
