Reference: JHB000312-JHBA-1 Job Title: Senior IT Technician Location: Durban Job Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Senior IT Technician to take ownership of a complex, multi-domain corporate environment of 150+ users across several business units. You will manage the full IT stack, from Microsoft 365, servers and networking to backups, security and day-to-day user support, while keeping everything documented and compliant. Please note: the successful candidate will inherit an environment that is actively being migrated. Immediate priorities include the email platform migration, M365 licence remediation, server blacklist resolution and DNS consolidation. A structured, methodical approach to inherited infrastructure is essential. Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Requirements 5+ years in a hands-on IT support or systems administration role, with at least 2 years at senior or lead level. Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-entity environments. Matric (essential). A relevant IT qualification such as CompTIA Network+, A+, MCSA or equivalent (preferred). Preferred certifications CompTIA Security+, MCSA/MCSE, or equivalent vendor certifications in networking or virtualisation. Required Technical Skills: Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune and the admin portal. Microsoft licensing: CSP, licence auditing and compliance. Windows Server: {2012/}2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP. RDP and Terminal Services: RDS licensing, ses
