Location: Västerås, Sweden Start Date: ASAP Work Mode: 100% On-site Application Deadline: 28 January 2027 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Developer specializing in Functional Safety to develop and validate safety-critical embedded software for advanced industrial automation and robotic systems. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 ✅ Develop embedded software using C/C++ for real-time and safety-critical applications. ✅ Perform software testing, debugging, code reviews, and verification. ✅ Implement functional safety solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. ✅ Ensure compliance with relevant functional safety standards. ✅ Contribute to safety requirements, documentation, risk assessments, and FMEA. ✅ Collaborate with hardware, systems engineering, and quality assurance teams. 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 ✔️ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. ✔️ Minimum 5 years of embedded software development experience. ✔️ At least 2 years of experience with safety-critical systems. ✔️ Strong C/C++ programming skills for embedded and real-time applications. ✔️ Practical knowledge of ISO 13849 and IEC 61508; familiarity with ISO 10218 and the Machinery Directive. ✔️ Experience with static code analysis, unit testing, verification, and requirements traceability. ✔️ Proficiency in both Swedish and English. ⚡ Applications are reviewed continuously, so the assignment may close before the s
