Job Overview We are looking for a committed QA Engineer to join our team. The person in this role will focus on manual and API testing, support testing activities with AI tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases. This is an opportunity to contribute to product quality, suggest process improvements, and help shape testing strategies in a practical, hands-on way. Responsibilities Perform manual testing across functional, UI, and accessibility areas to verify features meet requirements and user needs. Design, execute, and document API tests to validate integrations and backend behaviour. Use AI-assisted tools (for example, Claude) to streamline test case generation, exploratory testing, and defect analysis. Write clear, reproducible bug reports and work with developers to diagnose and resolve issues. Apply software testing theory and methodologies to define effective test strategies and approaches. Use Gherkin syntax and the BDD approach to create readable, behaviour-focused scenarios where appropriate. Identify risks and potential quality issues early in the development process and propose mitigation steps. Define test scope and prioritise testing activities based on risk, project timelines, and product impact. Communicate test status, risks, and results to stakeholders in a timely and constructive manner.
