The Role We are seeking a Software Engineer II, Cloud Services, to join our product development team working on Incydr, our Insider Risk Management product. In this role, you will be a backend engineer owning critical services that process billions of events from customers around the world. You will design and deliver new services and APIs, evolve existing systems hosted on AWS, and take end-to-end ownership of the quality, operability, and reliability of the code you ship. You will partner with User Experience, Product Management, Information Experience, and other development teams to deliver features that help customers secure their collaboration culture. This is a mid-level role for engineers who can work independently on moderately complex problems, make sound technical tradeoffs, and raise the quality of the team around them, not only through the code they write, but by mentoring others, improving how we build, and taking responsibility for production outcomes. AI-First Engineering at Mimecast Mimecast is an AI-first engineering organization. Our teams actively leverage AI-powered development tools across all facets of engineering, from code development to testing, documentation, and operations. We're looking for engineers who don't just use AI tools but champion their adoption and establish new ways of working.
