At Peter Park, we are seeking a (Lead) IoT Solutions Engineer to collaborate with our team in advancing our diverse IoT product landscape. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving and refining our hardware strategy. Our Objectives and your Role: IoT & Embedded Systems Development: Design, build, and integrate IoT devices for commercial or industrial applications, centered around vision-based automated license plate recognition (ALPR) or customer interaction (digital signage, digital access control systems), ensuring seamless performance and reliability. Hardware Integration: Lead the integration of hardware components such as credit card terminals, coin changers, thermal printers, and sensors into Point of Sale (kiosk) systems, optimizing for functionality and user experience. Linux-Based Systems Management: Ensure the smooth operation and security of embedded systems running on Linux, providing ongoing system support and troubleshooting. Edge Computing Deployment: Implement and manage software deployments on edge computing devices, ensuring the system is scalable and efficient. Data Analysis & Optimization: Analyze large datasets generated by IoT device fleets to identify opportunities for system improvement and integration refinement.
