Giotto.ai is a Swiss AI research lab, founded in 2017 by EPFL mathematicians. We build sovereign AI: efficient reasoning models and an operating system that make advanced AI run on infrastructure you choose. Efficiency makes portability possible; portability makes sovereignty real. Our models are a growing family, from compact models that run on a single GPU to flagship models for demanding enterprise workloads . Run Giotto in our European public cloud, in a dedicated cloud in Swiss or EU data centres, or fully on-premise, from a single-GPU workstation to multi-GPU servers. GDPR-aligned and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified. Role Overview We are looking for a strong Machine Learning Engineer to help design, build, and deploy advanced AI systems focused on reasoning and scalable inference. You will work on large-scale machine learning systems, distributed training pipelines, and next-generation architectures for reasoning models, collaborating closely with our research and engineering teams. Depending on your experience and interests, the role may include leading a feature squad or project team. We equally value strong senior individual contributors.
