Job Description: Senior Automation Test Engineer Location: Kraków, Poland Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and backend microservices testing. Banking domain knowledge is mandatory. Experience with Playwright is preferred. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. Perform backend testing of microservices, REST APIs, and service integrations. Build and enhance Java-based automation frameworks. Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing. Validate business logic, data flows, and application functionality. Identify defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium . Proven experience in backend microservices testing using Java-based frameworks . Experience with REST API and integration testing. Mandatory banking domain knowledge. Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured, or similar testing tools. Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have Experience with Playwright . Knowledge of SQL and database validation. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and performance testing. Ideal Candidate A hands-on Automation Test Engineer
