Position Title: Technical Lead Department: Application Portfolio Delivery Location: 6300 Steeles Ave West, Woodbridge Work Arrangement : On-site Potential Total Compensation $130,000-$170,000 Position Summary: 407 ETR is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Sr. Software Engineer to support the design, development, and modernization of the Strata platform, a mission-critical revenue generation system supporting tolling operations and customer transactions. The successful candidate will play a key role in technical modernization initiatives across C++, Java/Spring Boot services, API development, Oracle database integration, DevOps enablement, and platform engineering. This individual will provide senior technical expertise in application design, development standards, technical reviews, troubleshooting, and production support while remaining actively involved in software development activities. Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop, and modernize legacy and modern C++ applications supporting the Strata platform. Refactor and enhance existing codebases to improve maintainability, performance, reliability, and scalability. Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Support service-oriented architecture modernization initiatives and enterprise application integration. Establish and promote software development standards, design patterns, and coding best practices. Design, develop, and optimize Oracle database interactions, including SQL tu
