The Senior Software Technical Leader who plays a combination of Software Integrator and Software Architect role in the BSW team is an exciting opportunity for engineers who want to shape the technical direction of core automotive software while staying close to real product delivery. This position offers strong technical ownership across Bootloader, communication, diagnostics, and AUTOSAR BSW layers, with direct influence on architecture decisions, Software Integration Strategy, quality, and customer success. Reporting into the BSW engineering leadership, the role combines deep hands-on expertise with mentoring and cross global collaboration, allowing the leader to impact multiple programs and platforms. The overall goal is to drive robust, scalable, and reusable software solutions that enable BorgWarner’s global products and teams, making it an ideal role for someone motivated by technical excellence, leadership growth, and visible impact at scale. Job Details: Job Title: Senior Software Technical Leader (BSW) Experience: 9-12 Years 5+ years of work experience in automotive BSW development. 3+ years of work experience with AUTOSAR software architect and software integrator.
