[What the role is] Senior/ Executive Engineer (Solution Architect – Cloud System and Ticketing Equipment) [What you will be working on] We are seeking an experienced and committed Solution Architect to play a key role in the modernisation of Singapore’s Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable public transport experience. As part of the System Architecture and Assurance Division, you will drive end-to-end solution design, architecture governance, and technical assessments across complex integrations involving payment systems, backend processing, cloud services, and system security. You will be instrumental in driving design best practices and ensuring system reliability at a national scale. What You Will Do Analyse business and system requirements and translate them into high-level and detailed technical specifications and interface designs Perform technical impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to mission-critical AFC operations Architect and design secure, scalable, and high-availability system solutions for AFC and payment systems, including those using EMV, open-loop standards, account-based ticketing and card-based ticketing models Lead cloud solutioning and migration strategies, ensuring alignment with LTA’s cloud adoption roadmap Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (project teams, software development teams, operations) and external partners (vendors, financial institu
