We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer who is passionate about designing and delivering scalable, and maintainable backend systems. You will play a key role in building high-quality software solutions that support government initiatives. Why You’ll Love Working Here: Up to S$9,000 + AWS Hybrid Work Arrangements Contribute to Government Projects Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using modern technologies Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices following best practices Prepare API/interface specifications and technical architecture documentation to support system implementation and integration Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, while continuously improving application performance, reliability, and stability To succeed: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with at least three years of professional software engineering experience Experience in backend software development and building enterprise-grade applications Strong programming proficiency in at least one backend technology or programming language, such as Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, or Golang Proven experience working with AWS cloud technologies, including Lambda and serverless architecture Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices.
