General Description The purpose of this class is to provide technical and functional support, administration, analysis, configuration, integration, and lifecycle support for enterprise, departmental, and line-of-business applications. The position independently analyzes application and business process issues; develops and implements technical solutions; supports system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements; and serves as a senior technical resource to County departments and other Information Technology staff. The position requires technical knowledge, independent judgment, and the ability to translate operational requirements into effective and supportable technology solutions. Duties and Responsibilities The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary. Provides technical and functional administration, configuration, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting for assigned enterprise, departmental, and line-of-business applications. Serves as a primary technical resource for assigned applications and maintains advanced knowledge of system functionality, configuration, integrations, dependencies, data, security, and related business processes.
