System Specialist (Database Infrastructure)

About the role Responsible for managing and maintaining the company's Database Infrastructure to ensure stability, security, performance, availability, and scalability. Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery, Monitoring, Security, Capacity Planning, and Database-related Projects. The position works closely with Infrastructure, DevOps, Development, Security, Network, Application, and Vendor teams to ensure reliable operation of production database services.

Manage Database Servers and Infrastructure across Production, UAT, and DR environments Monitor database health, performance, resources, and capacity Manage HA, Replication, Backup & Recovery, and DR Troubleshoot database infrastructure and performance issues Maintain database infrastructure hardening and security configuration Support patching and vulnerability remediation Support ISO27001, PDPA, and internal audit requirements Support and take ownership of Database Infrastructure projects such as Migration, Upgrade, HA/DR, and Cloud Perform technical assessment and solution design Coordinate with Infrastructure, Application, Development, Security, and Vendor teams Develop automation to reduce manual operations. Improve monitoring, backup, and operational processes. Maintain SOPs, Runbooks, and technical documentation.

Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in System, Database, or Infrastructure roles Experience support
