Accountabilities: - Define and implement architectural standards for data pipelines, data modeling, and software integration, supporting both new and legacy systems. - Design, develop, maintain, and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, dbt, and Prefect. - Establish and promote DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), source control, code reviews, and secure secrets management. - Implement data governance and security controls using technologies and practices such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), Policy Tags, Dataplex, and metadata management. - Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and traceability throughout the data lifecycle. - Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt, implementing sustainable improvements. - Collaborate with product owners and development teams to plan sprints, prioritize deliverables, manage dependencies, and align technical execution with business objectives. - Prototype, evaluate, and integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions into the data platform to expand its capabilities and improve operational efficiency. - Provide technical mentorship to less experienced professionals, sharing architectural knowledge, coding standards, and engineering best practices. - Promote continuous improvement across data architecture, integration processes, automa
