**Company: Ethos Group** [[link] We’re hiring a SQL Server DBA to join our infrastructure team in DFW. This is a direct hire role (no recruiters involved). Looking for someone with real production experience who can step in and contribute. **About the environment** * Fully in Azure (SQL Server on VM, Azure SQL, some Managed Instance) * DBA team sits under infrastructure * Work closely with IT developers, analysts, data engineers, scientists, and systems engineers * Mix of operational support and performance tuning **What you’ll be doing** * Support and monitor production SQL Server environments * Performance tuning (execution plans, indexing, query optimization) * Backup, restore, HA/DR support * Troubleshoot production issues and work directly with dev/data teams * Help improve reliability of business-critical systems **What we’re looking for** * 3+ years as a DBA supporting production SQL Server * Strong fundamentals (tuning, indexing, troubleshooting) * Experience working in Azure or cloud-hosted SQL environments * Comfortable working cross-functionally with dev and data teams * Looking for someone who wants to grow and stay long term **Details** * Location: Dallas / Fort Worth (ONSITE / HYBRID required) * Salary: \~100k * No visa sponsorship Send me a message for more details.
