Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: December 31, 2026 Work set up: HybridOur client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a PostgreSQL DBA to support database administration, management, and optimization across enterprise data environments. The role focuses on managing and maintaining databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Oracle while ensuring data integrity, security, availability, and performance. This position involves collaborating with development and operational teams to support distributed data processing environments, maintain database reliability, and contribute to the design and implementation of effective database solutions.What you will do: Administer and maintain databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.Manage a database administration team and coordinate database-related activities.Work with database software to store, organize, and manage data effectively.Apply expert knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL data stores across structures including JSON and XML.Support distributed data processing technologies including Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.Maintain database systems, perform updates, and troubleshoot database issues.Support database design and development activities.Manage database access controls and permissions.Design and implement database maintenance procedures.Liaise with programmers, applications and operational staff, IT project managers, and other technical stakeholders.Manage database security, integrity, and backup procedures while implementing appropriate security measures.Write reports, documentati
