#vacancy #SAP #Basis #Remote Senior SAP Basis Consultant 📍 Location: Remote + occasional travel to Munich, Germany 🕒 Start Date: ASAP 💼 Workload: Full-time (100%) | Part-time also possible 🌍 Languages: German (mandatory), English 📄 Project Type: SAP S/4HANA Transformation About the Project Our client, Klüber Lubrication, is undergoing a major SAP landscape transformation and is looking for an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to lead the technical evolution of its SAP infrastructure. You will play a key role in supporting the company's SAP S/4HANA transformation by providing technical consulting, designing SAP Basis architecture, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the stability and scalability of the SAP landscape. Working closely with architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders, you'll help shape the future SAP environment while driving technical excellence. Responsibilities Advise the customer on the analysis, optimization, and continuous development of the SAP Basis landscape. Design and maintain SAP Basis architecture and system landscape. Prepare technical documentation and establish documentation standards. Provide technical consulting and support during SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. Develop technical roadmaps and strategic recommendations for SAP system architecture. Deliver expert consulting in the SAP HANA environment, including: Database Architecture Performance Optimization Monitoring Migration Optimize SAP system performance and ensure high availability. Coordinate technical requirements with business stakeholders, architects, and infrastructure teams. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor internal customer teams. Support technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Must Have 8–10+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. Strong expertise in SAP System Landscape Architecture. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Transformation projects. Extensive knowledge of SAP HANA Database Administration. Proven experience with: SAP Installation System Copy Upgrades Migration Performance Tuning Monitoring Experience designing SAP technical architecture. Strong technical documentation skills. Customer-facing consulting experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Good English. Nice to Have SAP Certifications. Experience in international enterprise environments. Experience with large-scale SAP landscapes. SAP Solution Manager expertise. Experience with SAP on Azure, AWS, or GCP. SAP Basis automation experience.
