#vacancy #fulltime #Cloud #DevOps #remote 🚀 Timspark is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join our team. - Language: German B2 (mandatory) - Core Focus: Lead and operate enterprise cloud platforms, build and manage DevOps / Platform Engineering / SRE teams, drive DevOps transformation and platform strategy, and take operational responsibility for critical cloud services. Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Bachelor (FH) or higher in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration (IT focus), or comparable. - Alternative Experience: a minimum of 10 years of professional/project experience in cloud infrastructure, system administration, or software deployment is required. - Specific Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional/project experience in implementing and automating cloud infrastructures and DevOps processes, including leadership of DevOps teams, platform engineering, SRE, and operational responsibility for critical cloud platforms. Mandatory Responsibilities / Proven Experience - Building and leading DevOps / Platform Engineering / SRE teams. - Developing and implementing DevOps strategies and roadmaps; driving DevOps culture and change. - Establishing SRE practices (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets); incident management and on-call coordination. - Designing and owning enterprise platform architectures (internal dev platforms, PaaS). - Stakeholder management and technical advisory to management. - FinOps responsibility and cloud cost management. - Compliance automation (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) and secure-by-design practices. - Chaos engineering / resilience testing; post-incident review and continuous improvement. Required Certifications - Cloud/DevOps (At least one professional-level): - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional OR AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional - Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) - Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer OR Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect - OR a documented comparable certification. - Operations/Process (At least one): - Google SRE or equivalent SRE certification - ITIL® 4 Managing Professional OR ITIL® 4 Strategic Leader - COBIT Foundation - OR a documented comparable certification. Technologies, Tools & Methods (Required in reference projects) - Category 1 (Essential): - Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT, IONOS (enterprise scale). - IaC & automation: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Bicep, Pulumi. - Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (including managed services). - Scripting & automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell. - Category 2 (Highly Desirable): - SRE & reliability metrics: SLOs, error budgets, SLIs. - Observability: OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, Prometheus, Grafana, tracing. - FinOps / cost tools: Kubecost, Infracost, CloudHealth. - Platform engineering / IDPs: Backstage, Humanitec, Port. - Chaos engineering: Chaos Monkey, Gremlin, Litmus. - Service catalogs & platform governance: Backstage, ServiceNow, etc. ❗️Location - EU Feel free to contact me [handle] 🤗
