(Version française ci-dessous)   Scripter   With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Scripter to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect. Responsibilities Take internal narrative pitches and create engaging gameplay sequences, with a wide variety of outcomes, to reward player agency and deliver a fun experience Collaborate with narrative, art, animation and writing teams to create outstanding game content Contribute and own gameplay features and scripting mechanics.  Learn and eventually master our internal scripting framework and languages, implementing gameplay sequences and delivering technically sound features Be an integral part of the local team:  mentoring junior developers, sharing knowledge, proactively seeking solutions to blockers and participating constructively in discussions   Requirements  Able to clearly communicate requirements and solutions: explain complex ideas, suggest approaches and prepare pitches  Professional Technical Design, Narrative design, Gameplay Scripting or Game Programming experience Experience developing RPG games or games adjacent in scope or player-experience to Larian games Familiarity with Jira/Confluence or similar software Self-organized and self-motivated. Ability to manage their own time, keep stakeholders abreast of progress, and prioritize effectively when multi-tasking Enjoy collaborating with others, across a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds Exposure to both the creative/design/narrative aspects of game-making as well as demonstrable experience resolving/delivering technical / programming work-product Fluent in English, both spoken and written*   Nice to haves:  Experience with Lua or other scripting languages  Experience with designing systems, features or to
