Midas Misr 🚀 We’re Hiring: Software Quality Engineer Midas Misr is looking for a skilled Software Quality Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web, mobile, and API-based products. If you have strong experience in software testing, automation, and working within agile development teams, we’d love to hear from you. 🔹 Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases. • Perform functional and non-functional testing across Web, REST APIs, and Mobile applications. • Maintain and improve automation frameworks. • Participate in code reviews and provide quality-focused feedback. • Report, analyze, retest, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle. • Conduct regression, acceptance, and root-cause testing. • Collaborate closely with Development, Product, Operations, and Design teams. • Participate in planning sessions, review user stories, and define acceptance criteria. • Assess release readiness and help ensure high-quality, on-time releases. • Mentor junior team members and promote QA best practices. • Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and overall QA coverage. 🔹 What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. • 2–4 years of relevant software testing experience. • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Cypress and Selenium, with strong JavaScript knowledge — required. • Experience with API testing. • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Ability to analyze application logic and algorithms when designing effective test cases. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment. ➕ Nice to Have • Experience with MongoDB, SQL Server, MySQL, or RabbitMQ. • Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. 📍 Position: Software Quality Engineer 📩 Ready to join us?
