Hey everyone, So a bit of a win, I sent a cold email to the Head of IT at a digital health company and they actually forwarded my resume to HR. HR reached out the same day and set up a call for Wednesday. Pretty stoked about that. My background is about 2+ years as a Cloud Engineer primarily on AWS Infra migrations. The role is a DevOps Engineer position focused on **Azure** which is where I have a gap — most of my hands-on experience has been AWS. Here's what the JD requires: **Responsibilities** * Deploys and supports cloud infrastructure solutions in Azure * Collaborates with crossfunctional teams including Networking, Security, DevOps, and Application Development.. * Assist in building and maintaining development, testing, and production environments. * Monitors, manages, and optimizes Azure cloud resources. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, network, and application performance. * Supports automation of operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell/Python). * Assists with incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting for cloud workloads. * Build and operate comprehensive CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps * Write deployment, configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and other scripts as needed in addition to the existing DevOps tools. * Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. **Required Skills And Experience** * Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role. * Strong understanding of Azure concepts: compute, storage, networking, IAM, policies, resource groups. * Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Powershell. * Good knowledge of MS SQL Server and in writing SQL Queries, and procedures. * Experience in using version control tools like Azure DevRepo, * Experience with CI/CD systems. * Familiarity with RESTful APIs is a plus. * Understanding of cloud security architecture, identity
