We believe understanding is the difference between working and winning. The Role We are looking for a proactive Software Engineer to strengthen the backend of the TimeKeeper platform. The role is Python-led, covering the services, APIs and data layer behind our web and mobile applications, and working closely with engineers across the stack. It suits an engineer who enjoys solving problems across a varied technology stack and picks up new tools quickly. Proficiency in every technology listed below is not expected; being proactive and keen to learn is what matters most. Design, build and maintain backend services in Python (Flask) that power the TimeKeeper platform Develop and improve APIs, data models and Postgres queries, with a focus on reliability and performance Shape features based on customer and team feedback, and deliver them alongside the web and mobile teams Write automated tests, investigate issues and fix bugs Review pull requests and share knowledge with the wider team Contribute to infrastructure and deployment work across AWS, Terraform and Redis Prioritise and manage multiple tasks, d
