Amazon's last-mile delivery network relies on thousands of independent Delivery Service Partners (DSPs)- small businesses whose drivers deliver packages to customers every day. We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to shape the technical direction of the platforms that support the full driver journey: from onboarding and qualification to communication, recognition, and the tools DSP owners use to manage and grow their teams.<br/><br/>In this role, you will own the architecture and technical strategy across multiple engineering teams. You will lead large, cross-team initiatives from concept to production, design scalable distributed systems, and drive operational excellence across a global, regulated domain spanning 20+ countries. You will go wherever the problem is—including partnering with teams across Amazon—to deliver the right solution for customers.<br/><br/>This is a high-ownership role where you will balance hands-on engineering with strategic leadership, mentoring engineers, and influencing partner teams' roadmaps.<br/>•Scope: Technical leadership across multiple engineering teams and production services.<br/>•Technologies: Java, TypeScript, React, and AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, API Gateway, SNS/SQS, CDK).<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>• Own the technical strategy and multi-year architecture across multiple teams and platforms; author the design documents and technical vision those teams build against.<br/>• Lead large, ambiguous, cross-te
