Beschreibung

We are hiring a Lead Engineer to join our Robotics – New Product Development - team, leading a small group of engineers working across electronics, firmware, and mechanics . You will take technical ownership of key sub-systems, review designs, support technical decisions, and follow the development from concept through to production. The role is primarily technical, combined with people responsibility for a growing engineering team. You will plan and coordinate the team’s work, follow up on project milestones and technical deliverables, and support the development of the engineers in your team. Job Responsibilities Take technical ownership of assigned sub-systems , covering technical solutions, scope, quality, compliance, cost, and delivery from development through to production. Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary engineering team across electronics, firmware, and mechanics, planning resources, prioritising work, reviewing designs, and making technical trade-offs. Work closely with Product, System Architecture, Project Management, Supply Chain, Test, Compliance, and Manufacturing to deliver against project milestones. Support suppliers and production readiness , while driving good engineering practices, standardisation, and reuse across product development. Manage and develop a small, growing team of engineers , including regular 1:1s, feedback, performance follow-up, mentoring, hiring, and onboarding.
