Req ID : FEQ127R98 We are seeking a technically savvy, visionary Global Head of Technical Scale and Strategy (FE) to partner with the SVP of Field Engineering and the broader leadership team of a 3,000-person global organization within Databricks. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly growing tech company by defining and executing strategies that drive scale, productivity, and technical excellence. This is not a traditional strategy or operations role; you will be deeply embedded in the technical heart of Field Engineering, running centralized technical functions and helping design the operating model for the future. You will work closely with leaders across Product, Sales, Finance, People, and engineering teams to determine where global consistency is critical, where accountability should sit within business units, and which experiments to run to optimize organizational performance. In this role, you will also help drive a high-performing, AI-driven builder culture, identifying ways to leverage AI, automation, and tooling to increase efficiency, improve decision-making, and enable teams to focus on the highest-impact work. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and technical leadership.
