CMM PROGRAMMER (VALVES) - 2ND SHIFT RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform precision inspection (CMM or surface plate) verification on mechanical parts, components, assemblies and materials (may include but is not limited to first article parts, in-process and final inspection on assemblies, and materials for workmanship and conformance to specifications/drawings) Understand GD&T requirements as applied to the engineering drawing and drawing notes Spot interpretation issues as applied to dimensions written or evaluation to requirements Select and utilize standard gauges to ensure quality. Inspect feature tolerances by selecting the tool with the required accuracy Candidate will be responsible to work in a cross functional environment utilizing PC-DMIS programming skills as applied to an Articulating Romer ARM and DCC CMM's Create, maintain, verify, retain, sort and organize all programs created to ensure they are readily available and saved to the current revision (in close coordination with Quality Assurance supervision) Work with cross functional teams to continuously improve the processes and specifications that govern precision inspection within the work center and beyond Assist engineering with making part inspection plans Identify engineering and design GD&T issues and errors creating ambiguity in the manufacturing an
