Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA. Figure’s vision is to deploy autonomous humanoids at a global scale. Our Manufacturing team is looking for a Production Lead to help drive daily execution on the factory floor. In this role, you’ll work closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to deliver against production schedules while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll be hands-on, coordinating work across teams, resolving issues in real time, and stepping onto the line when needed to keep builds on track. Responsibilities Lead by example to maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment. Assign daily tasks and coordinate resources to meet production schedules and quality targets. Monitor production flow, track progress, and provide updates on priority work orders. Verify readiness of lines, components, and equipment; support set-ups and changeovers. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving quality, equipment, or process issues. Review and complete production documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Conduct shift passdowns and cross-functional updates. Support employee training and development; step in for absent operators when needed.
