As a core contributor to our engineering ecosystem, you will design, develop, and optimise the smart contracts and underlying blockchain infrastructure powering 1inch. This role requires a sophisticated problem-solver who can navigate the lightning-fast shifts of the crypto landscape while executing securely at scale. Working directly alongside our CPO, product leads, and world-class engineers, your commitment to open-source excellence will keep 1inch at the absolute cutting edge of DeFi. ### Key responsibilities - **Architecture & Scalability:** Design and optimise robust blockchain product architecture, keeping scalability, security, and peak performance at the absolute forefront. - **Smart Contract Lifecycle:** Lead the end-to-end development, integration, and internal auditing of high-value smart contracts across decentralised protocols. - **R&D and PoCs:** Conduct advanced technical research and execute proof-of-concept (PoC) experiments to pioneer new features within the DeFi space. - **Cross-Chain Innovation:** Design and evolve cross-chain interoperability solutions, including atomic swaps and advanced bridging infrastructure. - **Gas Optimi
