Introduction Global Water Solutions is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to conduct a comprehensive risk assessment of our IT systems, provide guidance on IT governance and data protection, and support audit activities. The successful candidate will help us review current systems, identify gaps, and propose improvements, whilst also functioning as a backup and support to the Global IT Manager. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract role for a period of one (1) year , with the potential to evolve into a permanent position, based at our office in Boksburg, South Africa. We are a mid-sized industrial organisation with a pragmatic and business-oriented approach to IT governance. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their expertise in IT governance, risk, and data protection within a supportive team environment. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy in analysis, while key decisions and priorities are aligned with the Global IT Manager. This role offers the opportunity to take on meaningful and intellectually engaging project work in IT governance and risk within a flexible, part-time structure.
