IT salaries — trends
Median monthly salaries by direction and the overall market spread, week over week. All numbers in USD, normalised from source currencies (RUB / EUR / PLN / KZT) at the rate published with the job.
Median by direction
Median salary (USD/month) for the top-6 IT directions by number of jobs with a stated salary.
Market spread (percentile)
25th, 50th, and 75th salary percentiles across all directions combined. A wider band means more spread between junior and senior pay.
How to read
- Median — half the jobs pay less, half pay more. More robust to outliers than the mean.
- Percentile band shows the spread. A narrow band means a homogeneous market (junior and senior earn close to each other). A wide one means a large gap.
- USD normalisation makes jobs in different currencies comparable. The rate is taken at parse time.
- Only jobs with a stated salary in a sane range ($500–50K) are counted. Outliers (unrealistically low or high numbers) are filtered out.
