25th, 50th, and 75th salary percentiles across all directions combined. A wider band means more spread between junior and senior pay.

How to read

Median — half the jobs pay less, half pay more. More robust to outliers than the mean.
Percentile band shows the spread. A narrow band means a homogeneous market (junior and senior earn close to each other). A wide one means a large gap.
USD normalisation makes jobs in different currencies comparable. The rate is taken at parse time.
Only jobs with a stated salary in a sane range ($500–50K) are counted. Outliers (unrealistically low or high numbers) are filtered out.
