Description
Shooting my shot - Cloud/Infra Engineer looking for opportunities in the U.S. M.Eng. UMD, 2 YOE
Hey everyone,
Putting this out there because why not, the worst that happens is nothing.
I'm wrapping up my M.Eng. in Cloud Engineering at UMD and have 2 years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, where I led AWS migrations for enterprise clients, designed hybrid VPN connectivity, and built automated infrastructure pipelines.
Recently I've been going deep on AI , built an AWS resource management dashboard with a Gemini AI layer that autonomously interprets cost anomalies and generates recommendations, and built an AI-powered sustainability platform at a Google Developer Club hackathon that analyzes utility bills and generates carbon footprint insights using Gemini APIs.
I'm actively looking for roles in Cloud Engineering, Platform/Infra Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or AI Infrastructure in the U.S. If your team is hiring or you know someone who is, I'd genuinely love to connect. Also happy to hear any advice from people who've made a similar transition.
Happy to share my resume or chat more, appreciate any leads, advice, or even just a point in the right direction. Thanks for reading!
