#vacancy #cyprus #relocation #office Streaming Engineer (JavaScript + React) at Mayflower 🔥 We are seeking a JavaScript Streaming Engineer with a strong background in video live-streaming to optimize our player infrastructure. Location and office: Limassol (we provide relocation support). You will: • Build and optimize low-latency streaming clients (WebRTC, MSE, HLS). • Work on binary protocol parsers, DNS caching, and HTTP/2→3 upgrades to reduce TTFB. • Develop high-load React/TypeScript applications with SSR and Micro Frontends. • Diagnose complex client-side issues: memory leaks (Chrome DevTools), event-loop blocking, and CORS/CSP vulnerabilities. • Refactor legacy code, maintain unit tests, and manage build pipelines (Webpack/esbuild). You have: • 6+ years in JS (React, Vanilla). • Must-have: Proven experience with live-streaming on the frontend. • Deep understanding of binary data (ArrayBuffer), WebSockets, and SSE. • Strong knowledge of Redux, TypeScript, and modern build tools. • Ability to write algorithms and parse network protocols under Live Coding conditions.
