Network Engineer, Belgrade (hybrid or remote) About the role: We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team and take ownership of designing, deploying, and maintaining our global network systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise networking and hybrid cloud setup. What you’ll need to be successful in this role: 💦Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs. 💦Proficiency in Routing (static, OSPF, bgp) 💦Experience working with the network in AWS, create a fault-tolerant dedicated channels will be a plus 💦Experience with Arista, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA or Cisco Firepower, Experience with NGFW (Forcepoint or Fortigate or others), 💦Knowledge of network security principles and practices, including firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network access controls. What you'll do (Responsibilities): 🌸Design, plan and maintain network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and data centre networks, to meet the organisation’s connectivity needs and scalability requirements. 🌸Configure and deploy network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. 🌸Implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls to protect the network from cyber threats and unauthorised access. 🌸Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, routing errors, and performance bottlenecks, to minimise downtime. 🌸Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, topologies, and changes for reference and compliance purposes. 🌸Implement changes to the network infrastructure following change management processes to ensure stability and minimise risks. 🌸Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT professionals to integrate network solutions into various projects and initiatives. 🌸Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. 🌸Ensure network configurations and practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
