People Intelligence Architect Full-time/Company: Block Block is structured as one company built from many blocks, with foundational teams providing corporate-level support and guidance across business groups globally. Responsibilities: - Design and maintain reliable data pipelines unifying HRIS, ATS, performance, compensation, and engagement data - Model data for analytics and ML with emphasis on quality, lineage, privacy, and governance - Build predictive models for attrition, hiring funnel health, organizational network analysis, compensation equity, and workforce planning - Translate people questions into rigorous analyses and communicate results to leaders - Partner on employee engagement surveys from design through actionable insights - Design and deploy agentic AI and automations with appropriate guardrails and human-in-the-loop patterns - Own system architecture and set technical direction through code review, documentation, and mentorship Requirements: - 8+ years relevant experience - Proven experience building data pipelines (SQL, Python, dbt/Airflow or similar, cloud data warehouses) - Solid data science foundation including statistics, ML, and experiment design - Working knowledge of people/HR data including sensitivity and ethics - Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic frameworks - Strong systems thinking and design capability - Excellent communication with both executives and engineers Nice to have: - Experience with people analytics platforms (Workday, Visier) - Background in organizational network analysis or workforce planning - Experience deploying AI in regulated or privacy-sensitive environments Stack: SQL, Python, dbt, Airflow, cloud data warehouses, LLMs, agentic frameworks, Workday, Visier Benefits: - Medical insurance - Flexible time off - Retirement savings plans - Modern family planning support - Remote work 📩 Apply
