509 certificates and AWS IoT Core Understanding of secure device provisioning, persistent storage, watchdogs, recovery mechanisms and field diagnostics Fluent English is mandatory Category B driving licence is mandatory Willingness to travel to clients, mainly within Europe Degree or equivalent background in Computer Engineering, Automation, Electronics or a related field Your responsibilities: You will be involved in the complete lifecycle of our connected devices, including: Sensor acquisition, calibration and validation Secure device provisioning and certificate management MQTT telemetry and device communication Persistent configuration and credential storage Remote diagnostics and fault analysis Firmware stability, recovery and maintainability Troubleshooting across firmware, hardware, connectivity and cloud systems End-to-end testing of connected devices Supporting commissioning and field validation at client locations This is not an Arduino or prototyping-only position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with production IoT devices, taking ownership of their functionality and diagnosing issues across hardware, firmware, connectivity and cloud environments. Additional advantages: Experience with OTA updates, secure boot, signed firmware, secure elements, industrial interfaces such as 4–20 mA / 0–10 V, cybersecurity-aware product development, manufacturing, commissioning or field deployment of connected devices is a strong advantage. Knowledge of an additional foreign language is also an advantage.
