Requirement Details Role: Senior Java Backend Developer Number of Positions: 2 Duration: 12 Months (Extendable) Experience: 9+ Years Role Overview We are seeking experienced Senior Java Backend Developers to design, build, and maintain high-throughput, mission-critical digital banking applications. The selected candidates will work within Agile delivery teams to develop scalable microservices and resilient API platforms supporting critical banking services. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. Build secure RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party financial services. Implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ. Optimize database performance and design solutions leveraging Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes. Perform code reviews, application testing, production support, and performance optimization. Mandatory Skills Minimum 9 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development. Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. Experience with Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, Design Patterns, and Distributed Systems. Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or JMS. Strong knowledge of Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices. Prior Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech experience is mandatory. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
