HIRING Product Designer (UI and UX) | Startup Company 📍 Location: Ikeja, Lagos Job Type: Full-time Experience: 5 years Compensation: ₦300,000 – ₦600,000/month Job Field: Product Design / UI/UX About the Role We are hiring the first Product Design Team to drive the direction of design, improve the human experience of using software, and establish a design-centric approach to product development. Key Responsibilities • Lead product UX and UI design across the full software design process. • Conduct user research and interviews to understand user needs. • Collaborate closely with Engineering from prototyping through product release. • Partner with Product, Strategy, and Partnerships teams on product direction. • Define efficient design processes using modern technology and tools. • Help identify, recruit, and onboard additional design talent as the company grows. Requirements • 5 years of experience in software product design, UI, and UX. • Experience conducting user interviews. • Experience designing enterprise-grade software for desktop and mobile environments. • Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe XD, Hotjar, GitHub, and Notion. • Experience building design teams and processes. • Experience designing geospatial applications is an advantage. • Understanding of interfaces for controlling robotic systems is an advantage. • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript is an advantage. • Ability to create or modify designs in frontend frameworks such as React is an advantage.
