Description

Main responsibilities: Build & change management: Able to lead in terms of technology and conceptualize, propose design and architectural evolution, along with operational model. Contributing to development of high quality fully tested source code complying with deadlines, schedule and coding standards. Liaise with business analysts for clarification and understanding of requirements. Provide deployment and change management of the solution/platform. Develop tests strategy in coordination with project manager / Business Analysts. Provide technical assistance during user acceptance test. Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams): Analyse enhancement requests and bug-fixes. Document deliveries. Support applications in production - analyze and resolve issues as they arise as well as proposed optimizations for future. Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organization. Change Management & Operations: Apply a monthly release strategy aligned with team milestones, supporting the full release roadmap through to production. Provide level 3 application support, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. Drive process, technology, and infrastructure upgrades while automating manual work to improve delivery efficiency and quality. ) Good knowledge and experience in SQL Good knowledge and experience in RESTful API design and development Good experience with Maven, Git, Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines and Jira etc. ) Experienced with Java OpenTelemetry and ElasticSearch to build the observability for applications Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with strong fundamentals in complexity analysis Strong ability to analyze code – understand execution flow & debug even without access to a debugger Nice to Have Web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, Javascript and Angular etc) Security by design MangoDB & Redis Control-M, CFT and MQSeries Other Professional Skills and Mind-set Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proactive style of working Strong communication (written, and verbal) and organizational skills Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision Team player mindset Ability to work under pressure Understanding and respect of cultural diversity Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant specialities (IT). Minimum 8 years working experience in relevant roles. Shift Timings: Work hours: 8:45am – 6:30pm SGT Week-end support on demand.
