JOB OPPORTUNITY: Freelance / Consultant Location: Bucharest, Romania Work Regime: Full time. 4/5 in-office in Bucharest - 1 day remote Contract duration: at least 6 months About the Role Test Security/Penetration Test Engineer We are looking for a consultant with a strong background in information security services and penetration testing. The main objective of the role is to enhance the security posture of client systems through rigorous testing and vulnerability assessments in a confidential setting. Main Responsibilities Conduct security assessments and vulnerability identification. Perform ethical hacking activities and code security reviews. Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders. Test web, mobile, and thick-client applications for security vulnerabilities. Develop scripts and tools to enhance security assessments. Key Requirements Minimum 7 years of experience in IT security. Strong proficiency in Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking. Relevant industry certifications such as GPEN, GWAPT, CEH, GSNA, CPT, CEPT, GWEB, CSSLP, OSCP, or CREST. Experience in Application Security Assessment. Proficiency in Vulnerability Assessment & Exploitation. Skills in Offensive & Defensive Security. Professional English language skills. Other Details: This role is focused on delivering security solutions in a confidential environment with a preference for internationally recognized certifications.
