DevOps Engineer We are looking for a junior DevOps Engineer to join the regional IT infrastructure team for one of our clients. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the designing, implementing, and optimising cloud infrastructure, containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines in Azure environments. The ideal person should have hands on experience in managing cloud and containerised environments. Reports to : Senior Manager, Infrastructure Key Responsibilities · Deploy, administer, and optimise cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. · Build, maintain, and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and ongoing administration. · Manage database platforms such as SQL and MongoDB, including backup management, performance optimisation, and capacity planning. · Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. · Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. · Deploy, configure, and monitor Apache Kafka and Kafka Connect environments across SaaS or PaaS platforms. · Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and other scripting languages. · Implement monitoring and observability solutions to provide system visibility, performance monitoring, and proactive alerting. · Integrate DevSecOps tools to support vulnerability scanning and code quality management. · Ensure cloud platforms and deployment processes comply with security standard
