Overview Our client is undertaking a significant technology transformation programme, including data centre and infrastructure migration initiatives across a large enterprise estate. They are seeking an Infrastructure Platform Engineer with strong Linux administration and enterprise support experience to help maintain platform stability, support complex migration activities, and provide operational expertise across a diverse infrastructure landscape. The role would suit someone from a Linux, Unix, Infrastructure Support, Application Support, Production Support, or Platform Engineering background who enjoys solving complex technical issues and maintaining business-critical environments. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain complex Linux-based production environments. Investigate and resolve infrastructure, platform, and application-related issues. Ensure platform stability, performance, and operational resilience. Assist with large-scale infrastructure and environment migration programmes. Support physical-to-virtual and on-premise-to-datacentre transformation initiatives. Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and business teams to support strategic platform objectives. Automate operational processes using Ansible and associated tooling. Participate in environment management, patching, upgrades, and system maintenance activities.
