Introduction & Summary: The role of Cyber Security Engineer is crucial for ensuring robust cyber defense mechanisms within cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure Engineering, alongside a solid foundation in Linux/*nix systems. This full-time position requires technical expertise in automation and platform improvements, particularly with Python, Terraform, Git, and CI/CD processes. Main Responsibilities The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for: Operating, troubleshooting, and enhancing cloud-based cyber defense platforms. Developing automation and platform improvements using relevant technologies. Monitoring service health, data flows, performance, costs, and security measures. Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and lifecycle plans. Collaborating with SOC analysts and engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions. Exercising strong hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering skills. Navigating and troubleshooting Linux/*nix systems effectively. Implementing practical Python development for automation needs. Working with containers, preferably Kubernetes. Key Requirements Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in Linux/*nix systems.
