PROJECT Join a global technology environment focused on supporting and enhancing cloud cost management and FinOps tooling . We are looking for a Cloud Operations & Automation Engineer who will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Apptio Cloudability , ensuring platform stability, supporting users, and developing automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. This role combines Application Support, Cloud Operations, and Automation , with opportunities to work with cloud technologies, Python, and FinOps tools. YOU WILL Manage day-to-day operations of the Cloudability platform , including user onboarding, access management, ticket resolution, and platform configuration. Maintain platform metadata, budgets, forecasts, and technical documentation. Provide regular updates to users and stakeholders on service status, known issues, and cloud consumption trends. Identify opportunities to automate and optimize operational processes , including ticket handling, access provisioning, and scheduled tasks. Develop, maintain, and support automation solutions and applications , currently hosted in Google Cloud Run. Address security findings and ensure compliance with established security standards and procedures. Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
