Systems Engineer Location: Zedelgem Country: Belgium Contract: B2B , Long Term Job Purpose: As an Embedded Systems Engineer within the Forage Harvesting Integration Team, you will develop, integrate, and maintain embedded-system technologies for self-propelled harvesters, ensuring that solutions meet customer, functional, safety, and performance requirements. Main Responsibilities · Apply systems-engineering best practices throughout the product development lifecycle. · Define and maintain product-level feature specifications, system layouts, requirements, and supporting documentation. · Partner with the architecture team to maximize component scalability, modularity, and reuse. · Translate end-user needs into product vision, roadmap priorities, and clear system requirements. · Own system-level features and decompose them into subsystem definitions and requirements. · Coordinate across engineering disciplines and development teams to define, design, and integrate systems that satisfy customer needs. · Work with software teams to implement functionality and oversee vehicle integration to ensure compliance with functional requirements. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve vehicle-test issues and perform root-cause analysis. · Conduct design analyses to confirm that new requirements and specifications are achievable. · Prepare technical documentation and data analyses, and participate in hazard and risk assessments. · Develop automated testing for assigned system
